Enonymous is a non-profit organization formed by a group of Internet consultants that believe in a safer, cleaner more productive Web space.
The conceptual core of our project is based and inspired by entrepreneurs and visionaries Tim Kane and James Coyer’s enonymous.com project.
Enonymous.com was a project started back at 1998 by Tim Kane and James Coyer with the objective of creating a consistent Privacy Standard that could be applied and standardized.
The idea is simple; we feel that it should be very easy to identify which websites commit to protecting the data that is entrusted to them by their visitors.
It’s virtually impossible to certify that a website is committing to its policies, but being able to identify websites that have showed a clear intention to protect their visitor’s privacy is certainly a good starting point.
The first step is to create a good consistent privacy policy that emphasises on how personal data is handled and nothing else.
A good privacy policy does not need to be complex, long, or all it needs be is clear, concise and objective. We will assist all of our applicants through this process.
Remember that a privacy policy is meant to be read and understood by everyone and anyone that chooses to read it.
